Hello! We had a wonderful day. We started our day with the
students reading independently on the carpet. We try to spend at least
10 min reading on the carpet each morning, but if the students are really
focused and enjoying their books we may read for 15- 20 min before starting the
day with our morning message and then calendar time.
A big thank you to all the families
for your support with our Home Reading Program. The kids are all very excited about their home reading books.
Please remember to return your books tomorrow in order to get a new book for the weekend.
Both the morning and afternoon
class did a spring art project today. Painting, bead work, playdough, art
projects etc....are all excellent activities for young students to develop
their fine motor skills. Strong hands and strong fine motor skills will help us
all become even better writers.
To help us with our planning
for next year, a form was sent home to all families this week. Please complete the
"Next Year School" form and return it to class by Thursday April 13,
2017. Thank you for your help and support.
