We had a very busy day today! It seems the days get busier and busier the closer we get to the end of the year. .It is hard to believe it is already the last week of May! Time goes by fast when you're having fun :)
The morning we had a big rehearsal for the upcoming assembly. All 3 morning Kindergarten classes got together to practice our songs. The students are sounding really good. We will continue to get together during the week to practice our songs at the start of each day. By Friday, I just know they will sound amazing for the assembly.
Both classes have been enjoying some new centers in our classroom. Some of our new centers include:
- Marble Race Game - students get to build a different marble run each time with their classmates. Good team building fun!
- New Puzzles
- Dinosaur Center
- Some lovely new dolls and babies for the house center
- As well as some new activities for the light table
The students have been having fun exploring the new centers together and learning to share our new puzzles and toys.
In addition to our new centers. both morning and afternoon classes have been enjoying a new theme in gym class. They are now learning Drum Fit. The students are all LOVING it !!! This fun work out engages the whole brain and gives them a great work out too. They are having so much fun working out to drum fit...they all come back to class smiling and with very pink cheeks. I will try to get some pictures this week of their fun work out.

- Friday June 2 - School Assembly at 8:30am. - Our morning class will be performing this time
- Monday June 5 - Kick off to Literacy Week - Wear a shirt with writing on it!
- Tuesday June 6 - Ride Your Bike To School Day!
